An LP (Low Pressure) Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element is a thin-film composite polyamide membrane designed for treating brackish or fresh water, offering high water production and excellent salt rejection at lower operating pressures, which significantly cuts energy costs in commercial and industrial systems for producing pure water for various uses like electronics, food processing, and boiler feed. These elements, available in common sizes like 4040 and 8040, provide energy efficiency and reliability for water sources with TDS below 10,000 ppm (or lower for specific freshwater models).
LP series membrane elements are generally suitable for desali-nation of brackish water, surface water, groundwater andother water sources with a salt content below 10,000 ppm. They are mainly used in the production of packaged water, boiler feed water, industrial pure water and drinking water ofvarious sizes. They have the characteristics of low-pressureoperation, high water output and good desalination perfor-mance. They have high performance in removing soluble salts,TOC and SiO.
